Christmas Prayer

It's Christmas again, and Father God, this year we come to you again in praise. Praise for your presence, your creation. Praise for your abounding love, your grace, your mercy. Most of all, Father, on this day we stand in awe of your awesome gift, the baby in a humble manger. Hope and love and peace incarnate, sent to save us from ourselves. May we celebrate Christmas EVERY DAY and may we remember the child wrapped in cloth, as a pure and innocent symbol of our new life in you, O God. In your glory and the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
