Happy St. Patrick's Day!! I'm not even Irish and I just love today. It seems like people are a wee bit happier and just, "go-lucky!" And I'm thinkin with temperatures sitting pretty at 70 degrees today, that sure didn't hurt.
My mom makes the most outstanding corn beef and cabbage stew you have EVER had in your LIFE and she only makes it once a year. (We're big on traditions, like we don't eat chili before Halloween each year.) It's delish and I make myself sick eating so much each year. See, I have to smell it cooking in the slow cooker alllllll day... then by the time it's FINALLY time to eat, I gorge.
So today, my uncle came over and brought some green jello stuff which was also delish. So I am full full full.
Have you ever had green beer? Does it taste different? Is it just green coloring in regular beer?
I could probably google that. (added to my mental to-do list.)
Anyway.

Okay... but is it all chance? Is there even such a thing? Religions will say it's divine intervention. Maybe. Some might say its fate. Maybe. But what about when things DON't go your way? If you're UNLUCKY? Are you supposed to just sit back and bitch about it because, it's just the card you're dealt? Maybe that's worked for you, but for me? Not so much. I end up just cursing fate and feeling sorry for myself, which accomplishes a lot. psych. I say from here on out we make our own luck. Do our own things, and accept our own outcomes. Because you have to save yourself here. Take advantage of every day you've been given and stop waiting for someone or something or some entity to change it for you.
