15 years ago today, I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. On March 9, 1997, my life changed forever. I didn't realize then what it meant, what I would have to face in my future... but can an 8 year old really ever comprehend something like that? Can anyone? Maybe someday I will make a post on how I feel about having Diabetes, all of that. But for now, I am exhausted - my cousin just became the father of Austyn Lee, and I've been with them for two days now :)
