Skeleton hands with a skeleton face
Welcome to the skeleton race

Our bodies are our prison
Our bodies are our cage
Bones are the structure
That hold up the frame

Eyes are translucent
Skin is see through
Dreaming is lucid
Living is too

No one can see us
Hard as they try
We’re too imperfect
And they don’t know why

We’re fighting a battle
We know we won’t win
The demons inside us
All want to be thin

So next time you see a skeleton girl
Ask her about her skeleton world
